'You're not a photographer, you're a teenager with a nikon'

If you hadn't guessed, I really like taking photos. I'm not entirely sure why. A while ago I read a quote like this 'If you wonder what someone's scared of losing, look at what they photograph' and I thought it was really interesting
Sorry this is getting deep!!
Yesterday my friends came round and we took what I call 'indie fag photos'
We walked to a foresty-beachy area near my house and I love how the photos turned out, though I paid the price of 5 mosquito bites on my legs :-( (i thought they were all dead by this time of year) I'm considering asking for a portrait lens for Christmas however buying any camera related thing makes me feel guilty which is silly because I really enjoy it.. urgh life!!
Anyway, here's a few of the photos :-)

i put this in because it made me laugh haha, there was a marathon in our town today so yesterday they'd got this 'drinks ahead' sign up.. as you can see we're very mature
